Before you start cooking, take a look at the following website. Many people don't want to buy organic produce for a host of reasons but they should, at least, know what's hanging around on their foods.

For the most part, they are healthy recipes although some of them (like the Hungarian ones my mom makes) may have a bit more fat in them than most people would like but my feeling on that is that many people eat all types of food and it's probably good not to have too much of any one food but still enjoy it. No need to fill your plate or bowl to the overflow mark. A little bit of chicken paprikash with sour cream is a delicious meal when paired with cucumber salad. Traditional foods are a good thing. I grew up on Hungarian food and loved it. I have since embarked on a totally different journey eating a wholly plant-based diet but realize that the majority of people still love eating meat. Therefore, I include them on this site.
Life is meant to be lived happily and that includes what we eat. Enjoy your food. Just don't overdo it.
